SECTION 3: WRITING RULES

Follow these rules for all job descriptions:
  1. Use simple sentence structures.
  2. Avoid decorative language.
  3. Avoid poetic phrasing.
  4. Do not use em dashes.
  5. Use professional institutional tone.
  6. Avoid negative wording such as must not, cannot, should not. Describe expected behavior positively.
    • Example: Maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.
  7. Maintain consistent formatting across all sections.
  8. Bullet points should start with action verbs.
  9. Paragraphs should remain concise and focused.
